Why organic? We chose this path because we felt it was healthier for our animals, our land and our consumers.
Research now shows that grass fed/free range produced meats and eggs have much higher levels of omega 3 fatty acids, (the same “good” cholesterol found in fish), CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) and provides a bonus supply of vitamins E, A, D and beta-carotene.
Our methods have also been shown to be healthier in that we use no antibiotics, no added hormones, no steroids, no genetically modified feed, no meat by-products, no growth enhancers, no preservatives and no artificial chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
What we do provide are products that are safe, and wholesome that are processed under federal USDA inspection, with 3rd party verification for our organic certification.
We harvest our produce at the height of ripeness, several times weekly. We grow a wide variety of vegetables from the mundane to the exotic, exposing our customers to new foods and new ways of cooking and eating. We look forward to serving you.
