Elmwood’s organic chiles, dehydrated! Store these green shishito chiles in your freezer until ready to use them and they will keep for a year. (Note the green color turns gold when the chile dries.) Shishito peppers are known for a sweet, slightly smokey flavor, but remember that one in ten will be hot!
Use whole, ground, or reconstitute and incorporate into chilis, stews, and rice-based dishes. To rehydrate, the dried peppers should be soaked in warm water and deseeded after they grow in size.
