Bone Broth is Back!

It seems that bone broth has been having a bit of a moment. Truth be told it’s a relatively new product offering for us though we’ve been enjoying it personally for many years, along with many of you.

What we love the most about bone broth is how rich and nourishing it tastes. Though it’s called bone broth, it’s essentially a stock that’s made with just bones and vegetables (as opposed to pieces of meat that are often found in the broth you buy from the store), slow simmered over many hours to really extract all the nutrients and flavor. With these come the gelatin from the bones which is why bone broth tends to be much thicker and almost jello like when cool.

Because it does take many hours to make we all were wishing for a more convenient option. After some trial and effort we eventually found a source that could make large batches for us in a commercial kitchen and in extra easy to use (and ship) BPA-free plastic pouches with pourable spouts.

We offer beef, chicken and turkey bone broth made from our organic, 100% grass-fed Wagyu-Angus beef and organic, pasture-raised chicken & turkey, respectively. We also add in apple cider vinegar, carrots, celery and onions along with some spices and herbs for flavor. And that’s it! No additives and no funny business. Just good, clean flavor with all organic ingredients.

During the fall and winter we like to start our morning with a mug of whatever flavor we’re feeling most drawn to that day and slowly sip on it like coffee or tea. It also makes a fantastic soup base of course, tastes great in sauces, and even gives an oomph to rice and mashed potatoes.

When we first introduced our line of bone broths a few years ago they FLEW off the shelves and they still sell out quickly so now that they’re back we encourage you to stock up. You can buy each bone broth flavor individually or as a bundle with all three.
