Fourth on the Farm: A Recap

As you may know we’ve been in the midst of our summer farm tour series. We always love getting to welcome guests to our farm to share our story and offer a detailed look “behind the curtain” of our organic operations but last week’s tour was a bit different.

Being Independence Day we decided to host what we called “Fourth on the Farm.” This time around we welcomed some of our current CSA members, new friends of the farm (what we affectionately call our customers), homesteaders looking to learn a bit more about the ins and outs of our farming techniques, and even some of our team members who hadn’t attended a farm tour before and wanted to see what all the fun was about!

In addition to the tour we also wanted to take the opportunity to show off our renovated farm store and introduce folks to some of our pasture-raised meats so we also grilled up some samples of some sausages – it wouldn’t be the fourth of July without a little barbecue after all!

Here’s some of our favorite photos from the day:

A big thank you to everyone who was able to join us! We loved seeing you!
