We’re in the midst of a winter weather event but we’ve got our eyes on the prize—knowing that summer is around the corner!
Summer is both figuratively and literally one of our sweetest seasons. The days are longer, warmer, and we get to enjoy a hearty selection of some of our favorite summer specialties. Best of all, we get to share it with you!
Though we do our best to keep our farm store well stocked and bring much of what we offer to the farmers market, the most surefire way to enjoy it all is through our Summer CSA subscription program, which we always prioritize.
CSA stands for community supported agriculture, which means that by purchasing a share upfront, you commit to us with your dollars, and we commit to you by making sure you get first choice on everything we offer. By knowing how many members subscribe to the farm, it helps us better plan for the coming season. Of course, being a shareholder also means that you get an all-access pass to seasonal, organic, and locally grown and raised vegetables, fruits, meat, eggs and more. Think of it like a subscription to our farm’s harvest all summer long!
All this to say, we’re excited to announce that sign ups are NOW OPEN for Summer 2026 CSA shares! Our Summer 2026 CSA runs from May to October with three sizes available, depending on your and your family’s needs. When you sign up you’ll also have the ability to add on an egg, meat, coffee, bread and/or flower share. Nothing says summer quite like a fresh, ripe tomato. We like to keep a wide range of varieties on hand that are each well suited for salads, sandwiches, sauces or even just snacking—our favorite way to enjoy them.
A summer staple, zucchini is endlessly versatile and one of our go tos for a summer side dish, or making zoodles for an easy pasta dish!
Broccoli always flies off the shelf in early summer and for good reason as it’s a favorite. Being a CSA shareholder means you’ll have the best chance at enjoying it while it’s available.
We absolutely cannot wait for our sweet corn to come back, it’s sooooo hard to find non-GMO varieties grown organically! Grill it up, slather it with butter or your favorite seasonings, and enjoy.
