Elmwood Stock Farm, Georgetown KY, USA     ||     TWO more Weeks until Fall Season CSA 2024

It’s Time to Join Our Fall CSA

With the fall season fast approaching, if it’s left you feeling weary of the impending new routines, schedules and general sense of busy-ness then just know you’re not alone. With so much going on it can feel near impossible to think about trying to get a meal on the table. And that’s exactly where our CSA comes in.

CSA stands for community supported agriculture, which means that by purchasing a share upfront, you’re helping us better plan financially for the coming harvest. Of course, being a shareholder also means that you get an all-access pass to seasonal, organic, and locally grown and raised vegetables, meat, eggs and more. Think of it like a subscription to our farm’s harvest! Joining our Fall 2024 CSA is a great way to get into the groove of seasonal eating with a serious dose of convenience – your selections are all packaged up for you and ready to be enjoyed each week, no muss or fuss. We even offer delivery to your door if you live within one of our delivery regions, or you can pick it up at more than a dozen locations throughout Central Kentucky, Louisville and Cincinnati.

All this to say, we’re excited to announce that sign ups are NOW OPEN for Fall 2024 CSA shares! Our Fall 2024 CSA runs from October to December with three sizes available, depending on you and your family’s needs. When you sign up you’ll also have the ability to add on an egg, meat, bread and/or coffee share. We understand that many factors go into choosing where to source your food and so we are always grateful for your support – and love to reward our shareholders with exciting perks. As a CSA shareholder, you…

  • Get first dibs on all of our offerings before the general public does
  • Get to customize your share each week to your specifications
  • Can pick up your share from more than a dozen locations or have it delivered
  • Receive an exclusive newsletter where you’ll get recipes, food storage tips, crop news and other items of interest sent to your inbox each week

Something we’re particularly excited about with this upcoming CSA season are the add-ons available to you as a shareholder. Here’s more info about them:

MEAT CSA

An Elmwood Stock Farm Meat CSA Share allows you to source organic, pasture-raised, locally produced meats from farmers you know. It’s convenient to have your meats delivered alongside your vegetables; and you have priority over non-CSA customers for these cuts of meat.

Meat CSA shares are delivered along with your vegetable CSA. All meat comes frozen, delivered in an insulated package or placed in the cooler you provide (for home delivery).

Meat CSA Options

  • Surprise Bag Meat Share: Small Size or Family Size, receive farm choice of frozen, organic meat that includes a variety of grass-fed beef and lamb, and pasture-raised chicken, turkey and pork throughout the season.
  • Choose My Own Meat Share: You choose the cuts and variety of meat delivered with each CSA share when you log in to your online account each week.

EGG CSA

During times when our egg supply is not abundant, having an Egg CSA guarantees that you’ll receive eggs before they are offered to other customers.

These eggs come from our laying hens, which live outdoors on organic pasture, enjoy fresh air and sunshine, forage on green grass and clover, and eat wholesome, organic, non-GMO grains.

Eggs shares are available by the half-dozen and dozen.

BREAD CSA

A Bread Share gives you the opportunity to enjoy locally baked sourdough bread, focaccia, English muffins, sandwich bread and more each week! Everything is made with organic ingredients and made fresh weekly by our favorite local bakeries.

COFFEE CSA

A Coffee Share is the best way to enjoy top quality organic coffee roasted with care by our friends at Caffe Marco in Paris, KY. We’re proud to support the organic process that this small family business implements, plus the coffee is absolutely delicious! Brewer’s choice of variety each week or decaf. 1lb bag per week, whole bean or ground available.
