Our Favorite Fall Apple Recipes

Apples are a-plenty right now here on our farm, picked just for us from our friends at Ela Family Farm and Rogers Mesa Fruit in Colorado and we couldn’t be happier!

The Gala, Sungold, and Golden Delicious apples, along with D’Anjou pears and the super special Harrow pears are some of the best we’ve ever tasted, not to mention they’re 100% organic which is a rarity! We’ve been fortunate to be working with them for several years now and the excitement never goes away when we know their special shipments are on the way.

To celebrate we’ve gathered up some of our top fall apple recipes that pair perfectly with any of our varieties—but try the Jonagold apples for wonderful results. We hope you find a new favorite and enjoy the abundance of fall fruit we’re experiencing!

Apple fritters are a classic fall dessert and these really amp up the apple flavor with the addition of applesauce in the batter. Bet you can’t have just one!

Don’t knock it till you try it! Just be sure not to skip on the cayenne pepper – it helps dial back the sweetness.

A southern speciality, it’s hard to go wrong with apples, pecans and caramel sauce.

We would be remiss not to include an apple pie. There are many, many apple recipes out there but this one is called best-ever for good reason – the spiced apple cider glaze takes it over the top.
