This goes out to all our current CSA Members. We know those veggies, eggs, and meats you take home each week aren’t all magically ready to eat; they need cooking! We want to utilize all the natural resources at our disposal, and to thank you for being a part of our great big food family – let us help you out in the kitchen.

We’re giving away Flavor Kits!

Each Flavor Kit is a bundle of seasoning products locally made by us here in Georgetown, KY, exclusively with organic produce from our farm. We love having these in our regular inventory because they naturally preserve the flavors and health effects of their respective crops without artificial additives.

What’s in the Flavor Kit?

  • Elmwood Garlic Powder: Organic garlic bulbs are grown here in Georgetown, dried, and ground into a fine powder for easy seasoning.
  • Elmwood Dried Tomatoes: Organic tomatoes, when dried, retain all their savory goodness (and keep indefinitely). Add to baked meats, pasta sauce, salads, snack time, and more.
  • Elmwood Dried Chiles: Organic chiles add an amazing kick to any dish, but they don’t keep forever unless they’re dried! Use a little for a flavor boost, or a lot if you love the heat.

How to claim a Flavor Kit

We’re hugely grateful to anyone who has extolled the benefits of their Elmwood experience to their community. If you’ve sat down and discussed the way CSA makes you feel, shared your food with them, or talked about what it’s done for your household, this is our small way of repaying that kindness.

We’ll drop a Flavor Kit into your 2026 Summer CSA if:

  • you refer a friend who is new to our CSA program,
  • they sign up for a 2026 Summer Share of any kind,
  • and they mention you at checkout!
 

The details

  • Referral program duration: You can refer a friend at any point from now to the end of Summer 2026. (Or until we run out of CSA shares!) Let your new-member friend know that mid-season sign-ups are prorated!
  • 1 Flavor Kit per person maximum: We’d love to give them out like candy, but we wouldn’t have enough stock!
  • Did you refer a friend to Elmwood’s 2026 Summer CSA before we started the Flavor Kit giveaway? Don’t worry, we’ll still send you a Flavor Kit! Just have the friend you referred let us know, either over the phone (859-621-0755) or through our website’s contact form.
  • Your friend can sign up over the phone (and complete your referral that way, too). Have them call us at 859-621-0755, and we’ll help them set up their 2026 Summer Share + your referral.
 

Show these instructions to your friend when you refer them to Elmwood (so you can get your gift)!

  1. At checkout, click the checkbox to add a note under Distribution Information.
  2. In the text box, tell us the current member who referred you! Provide their first and last name.
